Application • The Stream 5S with 5 stages in 4 filter cartridges purifies water from the municipal supply to instantly deliver clean, fresh drinking water.
Convenience features • Ultrafiltration (UF) membrane with microporous hollow fibre structure works as an efficient filter to remove 100 % of bacteria, particles down to 0.01 microns and some viruses. • Oxidation Reduction Potential (ORP) mineral ceramic balls reduce the ORP value, which antioxidises the water to increase our natural metabolism. • Antibacterial carbon powder in the last filtration stage prevents harmful contaminants from entering and keeps the filter cartridge constantly fresh. • The “push & click” filter system makes filter replacement as simple as pushing a button. A “click” sound signals that the filter has been inserted properly into the adaptor. • The “automatic water shut-off” function takes effect if the cartridge is removed from the head adapter or is not inserted properly – the water flow is automatically shut off to prevent damage to the water filter unit.
Safety & Quality • The Stream 5S is certified as safe for drinking water by NSF International and complies with NSF Standards 42 and 53 for the reduction of unpleasant tastes/odours, chlorine, turbidity, nominal particulate Class I and VOCs. NSF certification tests the safety of the unit to guarantee its structural integrity during operation under water pressure.
Installation • The Stream 5S can be installed under the sink or wall mounted.
Safety • The Stream 5S is tested by Korea Water Conformity, Korea. • Encapsulated filter cartridges are clean and protected against contamination from the outside (e.g. during filter replacement and cleaning).
Filter • 5 stages of carefully selected filter media are combined in 4 encapsulated filter cartridges.
1. Polypropylene, 1 μm: Reduces silt, rust, sediment and larger particles.
2. Activated carbon block, 0.5 μm: Reduces unpleasant tastes and odours, chlorine, trihalomethanes, VOCs and heavy metals (lead, copper, aluminium, selenium, zinc, iron).
3. Ultrafiltration hollow fibre, 0.01 – 0.1 μm: 100 % bacteria removal; removes cysts, some viruses and algae.
4. ORP mineral balls: Reduce the ORP content of tap water.
5. Post-carbon filter with silver ions: Improves the taste of the water; ions added to the carbon prevent the growth of bacteria inside the filter.
